Stellar Native American Flutes Woods of choice are a combination of non-endangered North American woods and recycled woods. Stellar Native American Flute: Cedar in G The Basic G is a medium flute. 23 1/2" long with a 7/8" bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1 1/8" apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately 10 1/8". Stellar flutes are high quality wood instruments. They come in a variety of sustainable woods and keys (pitches) and are beautifully decorated with cotton thread-work in colors that harmonize with each flute's wood tones. Stellar Native American Drone Flute key of G This style of Flute plays chords! Drones are two separate flutes that can be played together. One side, usually the left, plays one, two or even three "drone" notes. These notes harmonize with the tones played on the other side. The six holes on the right side of the flute are played like any six hole Native flute. The drones all come with a single hole on the left side to raise the pitch or lower the pitch of the drone note. every drone comes with a button to plug this hole. This flute is extremely versatile, the left drone plays the root note of "A", the center plays the melody & the right drone has the option of playing one of three notes.
